Overview
Built-in access levels in Birdview are essential roles within the system. While they cannot be deleted, you may not necessarily use all of them in every project. However, they remain fundamental to system operations to avoid confusion.

Administrator
Upon logging in with the default login name "Administrator," users gain complete permissions to manage the system. Administrators have global access and serve as supervisors within the system. While they cannot be deleted, there can be multiple active Administrator-level users.
Warning
If there is only one Administrator-access level user in the system, it cannot be deleted.
Project owner
The Project owner access level empowers users with broad control within their projects, akin to a project manager's role. This access level distinguishes users with the highest level of project access. It cannot be deleted and signifies a user's authority within their respective projects.
Collaborator
The Collaborator access level is tailored for typical project collaborators, granting permissions for adding and editing activities, logging time entries, creating group events, and accessing reports. It provides essential rights for project collaboration.
Activity center default view
Activity center default view allows users to save time by customizing views for specific access levels. For instance, an accountant's default view may prioritize economic aspects of projects. Assigning shared views to access levels streamlines workflow in Birdview.
To assign a shared view:
- Go to Company settings > Access levels.
- Click the access level to edit.
- Select a shared view in the Activity center default view dropdown.
- Click Save.
