Duplication is one of the batch operations available for projects.
A project is duplicated with all its activities.
Note
You cannot duplicate a project from one space into another. Duplication is always carried out within one and the same space.
Warning
Time entries are NOT copied from the activities being duplicated.
Warning
Only project and activity messages with ATTACHMENTS are duplicated.
Note
Since this operation can generate potentially a great many changes in your system of projects and activities, resulting in a massive influx of incoming letters, the notifications are automatically disabled during the duplication of activities.
To perform project duplication, follow these steps:
- Select the appropriate Space.
- Open Activity center.
- Click the selection mode button (
) in the header of the leftmost column.
- Select the projects to be duplicated.
- Click Duplicate on the batch operation toolbar above.
- Select additional options:
- If you want the target projects to have the same start date as the source ones, leave the Change activity start date to today option unchecked.
- Click Apply.
