Overview
In Birdview some menu items and buttons (like Portfolios, Import from CSV) may be unavailable for a user because of a lack of user permissions or inactive features.

Portfolios
To make Portfolios available under Company settings for all users, follow the next steps:
- Log in to your Birdview account as an Administrator.
- Turn on the toggle "Show portfolios" at User menu > Company settings > Account settings > Advanced settings.
Import from CSV
If users don't have specific permissions (see the list below) the Import from CSV functionality is not available for them.
To enable the functionality, make sure you meet the following requirements:
- Import projects from CSV feature requires "Manage system settings" and "Add projects" permissions to be enabled in the user's global access level.
- Import activities from CSV feature requires the "Manage system settings" global permission and the "Add activities" permission to be enabled in the user's access level (in a project if the user is a project member or in the global access level if not a project member).
- Import time entries from CSV feature requires the "Manage system settings" global permission and "Time entries - Add own" / "Add for someone else" permissions to be enabled in the user's access level.
- Import customers from CSV feature requires "Manage customers" permission to be enabled in the user's global access level.
- Import users from CSV feature requires "Manage system settings" permission to be enabled in the user's global access level.
Reports
To make Reports available for a user, give that user the right to access common reports in his/her global access level: check the box "Access common reports".
To have access to the report generator, give a user the "Access report generator" right by checking corresponding boxes in a user global access level.
