By October, 2026, the common reports, currently found at Reports > Common tab, will have been relocated to BI dashboards. They will have been completely redesigned using Microsoft Power BI technology for your convenience. Respectively, the current version of common reports will be discontinued, as of October 2026. The new designated location of the common reports is BI dashboards > Common.
Time Logs Summary
Purpose & uses
The Time Sheet Summary report gives a high-level view of logged time so you can quickly review how hours are distributed across people, projects, or activities.
The typical uses of the report include:
- Monitor time logged for a selected period
- Review team or individual effort
- Support billing/invoicing workflows, especially when working with approved or invoiced time entries
In this article
- Compare logged time with planned work using timesheet views that show weekly logged, estimated, and hours left
- Export/report time data for sharing or further analysis
Old vs. new report
The image below presents how the new Time Logs Summary report looks compared with the current version of it based on an older technology.
Data drilling technology
One of the key advantages of BI reports is "data drilldown". By using a few buttons you can view your data at various levels of granularity: from very general, such as gross totals only, to very detailed, such as daily time entries. This turns a BI report into a well of information able to meet various reporting requirements.
The drilling toolbar is found just above any data grid of a report on the right. The toolbar consists of four navigation buttons by which you can access any required level of data presentation in the quickest manner. See the picture on the right.

Typical uses include:
- reviewing an individual’s workload across assignments
- understanding time, effort, or utilization at the person level
- comparing contribution by team member
- supporting resource planning and staffing decisions
- helping managers evaluate who is overloaded, underused, or involved in specific work

Common uses include:
- checking exactly what time was logged, by whom, and for which activity
- reviewing historical time entries for a selected date range
- validating billable vs non-billable work
- supporting approvals, invoicing, and audit-style review of time data

Billing Report
Purpose & uses
The BI billing report is designed to provide you with detailed billing information that will help you create invoices to bill your customers with or review the internal costs of a project.
It offers a comprehensive insight into financial state of your projects, including flat fee projects and activities, hourly rate activities as well as payments and expenses.
Owing to the Microsoft PBI technology, you can view the data in the report at different levels of granularity: from the most general to the minutely detailed. The report can be exported to PDF at a chosen level of data presentation.
The common uses of Billing Report are:
- Generate billable time reports for a project or customer
- Filter time entries by date range, invoiced status, and approval status
- Calculate billing amounts based on configured rates
- Group entries by activities for more detailed invoicing
- Export reports to formats like PDF or Excel
- Mark reported entries as invoiced after review (see Important Note below)

Mark entries as invoiced
Important Note
In the current implementation of common reports it is possible to mark entries included in a report as invoiced in one go. In the BI implementation of the reports, this option is unavailable. As a workaround, time entries can be marked as Invoiced in Time Logs History. Please see here for more details.
Payroll Report
Purpose & uses
Payroll Report allows you to manage and present information related to payroll and time utilization. Your accounting team can accurately track and monitor employee hours to ensure everyone is paid correctly.
With the detailed version of the report you can view:
- Regular hours,
- Overtime hours,
- Absence (paid/unpaid) hours for vacations and holidays.
This helps you understand where company resources are allocated and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, the payroll report ensures that you know exactly how much to pay your team members and prevent any discrepancies. You can easily export the payroll report to a .csv format for uploading to your accounting software. The report also allows you to view individual team member hours in a clear, user-friendly interface.
