MS Project tasks vs. Birdview activities
The way Birdview fields in a resulting activity are matched with ones in the source MS Project one is as follows:
| MS Project field | Birdview field | Notes |
| Task name | Title | |
| Notes | Description | |
| Start | Start date | |
| *) | Duration | *) Duration in Birdview is calculated based on Start and Finish, not imported from MS Project's Duration field. |
| Finish | End date | |
| Work (if Estimated is selected) | Estimated hours | The Estimated checkbox must be selected for the work value to be imported. |
| Percent complete | Progress | Completion rate. |
| MS Project user | Birdview user |
Note on notifications
Since this operation can generate potentially a great many changes in your system of projects and activities, resulting in a massive influx of incoming letters, the notifications are automatically disabled during the import of activities from MS Project.
